1969 Mustang Fastback - Extremely Rare Non Mach 1 Double R Code 428 CJ Ram Air, factory 4spd Car, 3.50 9 inch Rear End. Has a 428 CJ Ram Air service Warranty replacement block. The 428 CJ is out of the car, I have had machine work done to it. The 428 is complete with all it\'s parts, correct CJ heads, hardware and exhaust also Ram Air Scoop, just needs pistons. It was a factory Close Ratio 4spd car. The 4spd is long gone, now it has a built C6 automatic, the tranny is in the car.
The original color of the car is Meadowlark yellow and it has it\'s original paint. There is some primer spots on the body but the old owner did that back in the 80\'s, just mostly putting primer over scratches. If you color sand the primer spots a lot of it will come back to the original paint. The body is very solid with no rust issues at all, has it\'s original sheet metal, floors, torque boxes and frame are very solid and all original, the car has sub connectors that are just bolted on, very easy to unbolt if you want to. It has some small digs in the body but nothing to major. The hood is not original at all but the Ram Air Scoop Ring is original.
The original Black Kiwi Vinyl interior is all original and in fair shape, does need some interior work from being original. Has factory bucket seats, fold down rear seat, factory tach and gauges.
This car was built in San Jose California and it\'s a original 428 CJ Ram Air, that is what the double R code means. This Mustang Fastback is very rare because it is a NON Mach 1 R code 428 CJ RAM AIR, 4spd that they made very few of. The car was sold at GAUDIN MOTOR CO in LAS VEGAS NV. I bought this car from the second owner that has owned it since 1972. The original owner traded it back into the original dealership in 1972 to buy a newer car. So the second owner I bought the car from bought it from the original dealership it sold out of. Kind of a neat story. The Mustang Fastback has 56,088 original miles.
Has it\'s original Vin tag, Door tag, and original Vin numbers stamped in the fender aprons.
