Sheet Metal FYIDue to the nature of the material and production, the sheet metal products you receive may havescratches, dings, small dents and other minor imperfections which are considered normal. Theseimperfections will easily be corrected during the initial filling, priming, and sanding of your repair orrestoration. We do not consider dings, minor dents scratches in the EDP primer or any other minorimperfection to be defective or damaged. ALL sheet metal panels will require some preparation andmanipulation during the install process for a top quality fit and finish.ALL parts should be test fit before any prep work or paint is applied. There will be no credit issued forany part that has been modified from its original state, primed or painted. Minor modifications such aselongating mounting holes, adding shims, correcting imperfections such as high or low spots, etc, arenormal and may be necessary when you are installing the product. A few key facts to note are:1. Some driving conditions such as racing can put added stress on a vehicle’s frame causing it totwist out of the factory’s original tolerance specs.2. Poorly performed bodywork from a previous collision or restoration can cause problems withthe body structure to which the panels are attached.3. A vehicle that has been sitting motionless, collecting rust, etc. for years may have developed aslumping frame, especially a sub-framed car, which can cause fitment issues when installing newsheet metal products such as floor pans, fenders, doors, and quarter panels.The above-mentioned factors are just a few key examples that can cause sheet metal panels to bemisaligned during a repair or restoration. One other fact to consider when it comes to classic vehicles isthe tolerances were not nearly as exact as they are on today’s modern vehicles. The primary reason isthe assembly of most vintage or classic cars was performed by hand, not by the robotics that is used intoday’s modernized facilities. Because of this, the mounting points and bolt-holes were unique to eachvehicle. Due to the above procedures performed in the past, there really is no such thing as a direct,“bolt-on” body panel when it comes to older vehicles.We recommend that you hire a professional that possesses the knowledge, skills, and experiencenecessary to install the new panels on your vehicle. Domestic USA Orders Only. (All sales are final for International orders.)
We accept returns on items for a period of 30 days from the date of purchase. All product and packaging must be in new and unused resalable condition. Shipping is non-refundable. A 20% restocking fee is assessed on all returns. Electronic items are not returnable.
To initiate a return, please contact us for an RMA number. RMA\'s can take up to 2 business days to generate. Returns without an RMA number will not be accepted.
Lost/Damaged Packages:
If your item(s) were lost or damaged during shipping, after 30 Days for Domestic Shipments and 45 Days for International shipments (Insurance regulations), we will file a claim for a full refund (a signed statement from the buyer is required.)
