Description 1972 Mercury Cougar XR7 Convertible The Mercury Cougar is the sister car to the Ford Mustang and is a more luxurious of the two. It does a great job of combining muscle car performance with every option you could want in a 1972. Mechanical The 351 engine is as stock as they come and is backed by an automatic transmission that shifts on the floor. The Ford 351 is legendary for power and dependability. The Cougar emblem emblazoned on the seat backs, door panels, steering wheel and the XR7 emblem on the dash are a nice touch. - Finalizing your Purchase:
