We recently purchased this Delta 88 Convertible from the previous retired, 80+ year old Utah owner who was a collector and master mechanic and as you can tell in the pictures and video it was his pride and joy for over 30 YEARS !! This Delta 88 Convertible still retains it's correctly mounted - FACTORY ORIGINAL - dash mounted Oldsmobile VIN tag - FACTORY ORIGINAL - firewall mounted Oldsmobile data plate - FACTORY ORIGINAL - trunk lid mounted jacking instruction stickers - FACTORY ORIGINAL - Oldsmobile factory build sheet and an - ORIGINAL- 1969 Oldsmobile owner's manual, all of which are shown in several pictures below. This is a NICE - DRY - Utah - Idaho High Mountain Desert - Western car and it shows !! I drove this Delta 88 as my daily driver for the last several days and I assure it runs and drives VERY WELL !! It is a GREAT driver in town and cruises down the freeway at 70mph+ easily and smoothly. The motor also sports an Edelbrock Performer 4 barrel intake manifold, ORIGINAL exhaust manifolds, custom Moroso chrome valve covers, Edelbrock 4 barrel carburetor with electric choke and a custom Chrome - "Rocket 455" scripted - air cleaner housing, ETC... !! Sounds GREAT too with the "THROATY" factory style true dual exhaust system with dual chrome tips. The engine is backed by a SMOOTH !! - COMPLETLY REBUILT !! - Three speed - TH400 -"Turbo Hydra-Matic" - automatic transmission which also functions very well. The BEAUTIFUL !! - Code "310" - Black cloth Fabric and Vinyl with Faux' Wood Grain accents, Delta 88 interior is in VERY NICE condition including a VERY NICE Black Cloth Fabric front seat, VERY NICE Black Carpeting, NICE ORIGINAL Oldsmobile steering wheel, VERY NICE Matching Black Cloth Fabric and Vinyl door panels, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Factory gauge clusters, VERY NICE Black Cloth Fabric rear seat, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Black Vinyl sun visors and a VERY NICE ORIGINAL Black Vinyl dash pad with NO CRACKS !!
