I\'ve driven this car less than 80 milesin the last decade, so it\'stime to sell and move on to something elseI\'ll actually use. I bought this 1969 Sport Satellite Convertible in theyear 2000with about 41,000 miles showing on the odometer, which is believed tobe original.

I\'ve read that 818 Sport SatelliteConvertibles were built, with about 188 saddled with a 383 V8 engine of somesort. The rest were 318 cars. This is a 383 2BBL car that, for reasons of sheervanity, one can presume, has been switched to a 4 BBL with an EdelbrockPerformer intake. The car is generally in great shape, but it has lived a hilariouslysedentarylife and needs to be driven and tended to on a more regularbasis to beconsidered a real car and not a mere taker-upper ofgarage space.ENGINE: Rebuilt top to bottom in 2004 with forged pistons and a Comp260cam. I run it up to temp every couple of months for shits andgiggles.Runs great. Recent oil change. New dual exhaust wasinstalled at the timeof rebuild. Trans is a three-speed auto whichhas not been touched sinceI\'ve had the car. Works fine. Engine buildcost me about $5,500 when itwas done. New gas tank, Pertronixelectronic ignition, aluminum waterpump.BODY: Painted the correct yellow in basecoat-clearcoat at a cost ofabout$7,500. Body is solid with original floors, quarter panels andtrunkdrops. I have new lower moldings and the installation clips, but Ijust haven\'t gotten around to that yet. I guess I need morethan 14 yearsto get it done.INTERIOR: The fender tag indicates this car came with bucket seats, but ithad a bench when I got it, so I went with it. Scratch-builtleather seatcoverings with new foam with new carpets and doorpanels, etc. Classy andsmells like sweet cow porn in there. Totalcost of about $7,200.WHEELS/TIRES: New chrome Magnum 500s, 15x7, with new redlines. Drivenabout34 feet since installed.BRAKES: New Master Power front disk conversion, drums at the rear.SUSPENSION: About seven years ago, hoping to rekindle my relationshipwiththe car, I kind of wanted to \'restomod\' it (lower, big wheels),so I addedMagnumforce Racing tubular upper control arms. Never wentany further. Somuch for that. Added KYB shocks. Stock leafs out back.TOP OPERATION: Works great.CRAP TO FIX: I noticed that the power-steering pump is leaking, sothatwill need tending to.Itneeds the rear fender-lip moldings.PAYMENT: Yes, I take payments. Of course I do. Money works as doescertifiedcheck and wire transfer. To hell with Paypal. $500 is dueat auction\'sclose with the balance due within seven working days.DELIVERY: Send a truck, or pick it up with a truck. You could drive it, but it\'s best not to drive a 50-year-old car that you\'re not familiar with for long distances (without tools and a chase car).Clearly,I can hold the car for a reasonable amount of time while youarrange fortransport. Message me to discuss if you have unusuallyweird needs in thisregard. Thanks for reading and good luck.
