This Rebuilt Rack was like new
This Rebuilt Rack was like new...for a 1998 Toyota Sienna that is not worth the OEM Price, this Rack definitely did the job, at less that 150 dollars after the core refund (still waiting for refund btw) this rack cannot be beat, my original steering rack was basically destroyed so replacement was long overdue, 90 degrees of steering play toward the last days, grinds like hell and leaks everywhere, so i may be over enthused, but after replacement, the car began to drive like a normal again, smooth as butter! anyways, about 2 months now and still no leaks, and since im shopping for a new car, i could not justify buying a new rack, but this rack and its packaging could might as well have been new, i would not have been able to tell the difference, spotless, plastic caps in place, no silver ... Great stoping power! Quality looks good. In one way too good. The the sheet metal that is used for the hardware is too thick. It's at least 50% if not 75% thicker which is good for quality purposes not so good for fitment purposes. Using the supplied hardware the pads were too tight to move freely. I had to reuse old hardware.
