Universal Carbon Style Side Skirt Rocker Splitter Diffusers
I'm a hobbyist and have managed to install quite a bit of REAL carbon fiber items on my 370z. I was sceptical of these since they are priced quite cheap, (Faux Carbon Fiber) and while my Z has real carbon fiber, (Tail, rear and front spoilers, mirrors and front nose) I was afraid they would stand out against their real counterparts. That was not the case. They came packaged nicely and unless you LOOK REAL close you just can't tell. I had my car jacked up and prepped the parts and the bottom of the Z with rubbing alcohol. I used my own larger width 3M tape and heated the panels with a blow dryer for better adhesion with the surface. You could almost get away with just tape but I did also drill 3 small holes spaced apart (kit comes with tape and screws) on each panel. You can space these ... I chose to use the lines of the wing on the panel to follow the line of the Z. 1 inch from the body. So it does not stick out much at all. They look the part. It was about 30 mins per side and it was done. I considered the full length splitters in real carbon BUT those are super pricey and they don't allow for and adjustability or spacing and they stick out more than I wanted. You seriously can't go wrong with these if you want a clean, custom look. Sometimes you take a chance on something cheaper and it actually pays off for once!!
