This is a set of three control cables for the heater controls for 1968 1969 1970 American Motors AMX and Javelin models without air conditioning.
Included in the set are: TEMP cable (for intake manifold mounted heater control valve) DEF cable AIR cable
The TEMP cable uses a higher temperature plastic housing to better withstand engine bay heat, while the other cables use a slightly more flexible cable housing to make them easier to route under the dash.
The center wire is made from 302 stainless steel spring wire, slightly larger diameter than the originals for higher strength and less chance of buckling. The cable housings are wire wound with vinyl external sheath and Teflon internal liner for smooth action. All cables are marked at the control panel end with a label so you can easily tell which goes where on the control panel.
