Original style GM rebuilt tilt steering column for your Firebird or Trans Am. This column will be restored to show quality and come ready to install. Adding an OE style tilt column to your car will bring authenticity and value. If you need more room to get in and out, this is the answer!! Comes pre-painted black just like factory units. Turn signal lever, tilt lever, and keyed ignition lock are not included. Excellent quality column that is ready to go!
*Note ~ The firewall mounting plate will be bent slightly for shipping purposes. Gently bend back to shape when installing.Exact fit for;*all 1977 models*all Early Production 1978 modelsPlease double check your steering column shaft. This is the shaft that goes from your steering column to the steering gear box. Over the years many cars have had column swaps. This column will only work with steering shafts that have a spline mount and outside securing bolt.
