Im selling this Electric Power Steering Assist Motor from a 2010 Chevrolet HHR
This motor assembly has been tested and is in excellent condition.
When they go bad, it makes it extremely difficult to turn the steering wheel. The steering system defaults to manual steering mode, making the vehicle more difficult to steer, especially at lower speeds.
It can also default where you lose your power steering while you are driving. Restarting the car temporarily fixes it, until it dies again.
These are a couple of common issues with the electric power steering units on these vehicles.
