The AC Delco 9108 dual-action mechanical fuel and vacuum pump originally fits the following stock vehicle applications:
• 1939–1953 Hudson models (including Pacemaker, Super Six, Commodore, Hornet, and Wasp equipped with the Inline-6 or Inline-8 flathead engines).
Critical Note on GM Cross-Applications
While the casting body labeled 9108 was manufactured specifically as a Hudson factory part, AC Delco shared identical dual-action internal castings across several brands during this era. Because of this, it is frequently found in vintage catalogs and secondary markets modified to fit these alternate stock vehicles:
1939–1940 Oldsmobile (All series, when paired with the GM-specific mechanical rocker/pump arm).
1939–1940 Pontiac (Deluxe Six or Deluxe Eight, when paired with the GM-specific mechanical rocker/pump arm)
