This auction is for therepair serviceof an '03-'09Cadillac XLR Tail Light.
THIS SERVICE IS FOR THE REPAIR OF A SINGLE ASSEMBLY. IF MORE THAN ONE NEED TO BE REPAIRED PLEASE SELECT A QUANTITY OF 2.
This service includes the repair ofBad/Dim LED lights for the tail lights and/or brake lights, thorough cleaning, lens polishing, and bench testing.
We only use the exact NOS (New Old Stock) bulbs that were designed by the OEM manufacturer for this light assembly. Nothing else on the market is correct. There are some youtube videos out there incorrectly showing the use of Superflux or Piranha style 4 pin bulbs. These bulbs are immensely under rated for the designed wattage and will absolutely prematurely fail. Please also note that incorrect color wave length is technically illegal as the DOT has very explicit specifications.
Upon receipt of payment,I will send a message containing instructions on how and where to ship your tail tight for repair.
Once the unit is received, it will be inspected, thoroughly cleaned, remanufactured, polished, tested and sent back the following business day.
Occasionally, we see a damaged internal power supply. This usually occurs from moisture entering the unit through splits in the lens from age or through failed lens adhesive (especially common in the '08-'09 units). The replacement cost for a NOS GM power supply is an additional $235 if needed and any chemical plastic welding of splits in the lens will be an additional $50 charge.
