I received the package a few weeks ago and wanted to wait till I got the cab of my truck painted. I started pulling the sound and heat deafening down. It sticks to everything very well. As in your fingertips and fresh paint. I had better luck cutting smaller pieces rather than trying to go big with the curves and bends of my 83 toyota floor. It cuts with a razor blade well. I think it will serve it purpose nicely. Remember, the carpet will cover it.
